Design 2 HTML
I am a UI developer with i++ years of experience — the glue between front-end, backend, and design. Not from an arts academy, but instinct tells me when a color palette is off or a space is missing between words. My core competency lies in the fine details.
Accessibility
Web accessibility is ensured by staying up to date with the latest W3C standards, including WCAG 2.2, Section
508, WAI-ARIA, and
Schema.org. Following these rules from the start ensures built-in
SEO, smooth
UX, quality code, and neat
UI out of the box.
Speed optimization
Performance is carefully fine-tuned. Core Web Vitals like LCP and CLS, async & defer, critical above-the-fold CSS, and seamless FOUT/FOIT/FOFT handling. Lazy loading, fast coding.
Consultation
Overwhelmed by front-end details? I spot UI bottlenecks and tackle questions like ‘Are custom-looking checkboxes necessary?’, ‘How to ensure keyboard accessibility?’, or ‘Pixel-perfect vs. generic?’ — keeping the big picture in focus.
AI
I can handle Git from the command line or SSH into a remote server, but I’m most confident with my AI copilot HAL 9000 — boosting productivity, filling gaps, and streamlining my workflow.
Paw patrol
Brainstorming on four paws. I take long walks with my dogs to avoid burnout and let ideas marinate away from the screen.
Featured work
Website and custom blog
for a team of data scientists
Website redesign and migration from Bootstrap to TailwindCSS, in close collaboration with an A-list designer Jonas Goldstein. Translated a Bauhaus- and ASCII-inspired design vision into a functional, minimalist, and visually refined site — significantly lighter and faster.
A Next.js dashboard featuring code syntax highlighting, light/dark mode, and a custom JSON-in-Markdown block engine powering an AI chatbot interface. Built with shadcn/ui and TailwindCSS, and includes themed data-visualization charts styled via CSS variables.
Freelance marketplaces Elance and oDesk are now
rebranded and merged together under the new name - Upwork. It was
(and still is) exciting experience to be a part of the team which
made it happen.
A lightweight static landing page built with Eleventy (11ty) and TailwindCSS, using a custom tw- prefix to avoid classname collisions. Styles are delivered via the Tailwind Play CDN with an inlined runtime config, trading full JIT build control for extreme simplicity and rapid iteration.
Custom-tailored grid system with CQI (container query units) and cap-height typography, ensuring both spacing and text align perfectly with the grid, not only horizontally but vertically as well. Includes a custom image gallery, search functionality, and many other fine details.
A zero‑build, single index.html implementation: pure HTML5, inline CSS, and a few lines of vanilla JS to simulate an "AI" chatbot with canned randomized replies. No bundler, no framework, no dependencies.
Converted a React website into a static HTML site using Eleventy (11ty), Bootstrap, Alpine.js, and Axios to research and compare Forex brokers with synchronized sliders and radar/bar charts. Features structured broker reviews, live market tools, and a multi-step guided broker selection process.
A marketing site taken from Figma to an Eleventy (11ty) static build
with TailwindCSS, hand-crafted CSS animations, an SVG sprite pipeline, and Netlify form integration.
Reverse-engineered a purchased static theme into a marketing and docs website
with SEO and accessibility optimizations, performance improvements, and a search widget
API integration. Includes microanimations, adaptive dark/light favicons, and SVG animations
by Heavyform® Creative Agency.
Collaborated with a backend developer who handled the game logic while I focused
on slicing designs into HTML/CSS and refining the HTML5 <canvas> rendering.
Built as a React single-page game.
I gave a talk at a conference for designers and front-end
developers about accessibility, user experience and
performance. If you are interested in WCAG 2.x, WAI-ARIA or Schema.org, check out the slides and the video at...
Custom Tumblr theme based on Optica by Kristoffer. with fine tuned social sharing rules.
But enough with the technical details already, here, Vackor is
the star!
Responsive website with SVG animations and top-tier accessibility. Optimized with handcrafted lazy loading and passes Google PageSpeed, YSlow, and HTML CodeSniffer checks. Fully functional even with JavaScript disabled. PSD and animations by Heavyform® Creative Agency.
A complete rebuild of my old agency website in Astro, featuring refined GSAP-powered animations:
DrawSVG, icon morphing, parallax, and a custom <canvas> starfield —
all respecting prefers-reduced-motion.
Also includes a HAL 9000–themed chatbot powered by OpenAI LLMs.
